The chickweed is used for boils varicose ulcers, all kinds of skin condition including psoriasis and eczema. The chickweed can be taken internally as well as applied externally to the skin. It is sometimes added to bathwater as well as it can be used in a poultice on the skin directly. It is also used in compresses. The chickweed is used to make ointment for the skin, as well as salve for the skin. The chickweed can also be used to make teas, liquid extracts and tinctures.
